I hope everyone had an amazing long weekend! We sure did! A few extra hours of sleep and 4 days with family is just what I needed after the chaos of the beginning of the year!
Last week, our little learners created a walking museum for second grade. We made famous person posters and we taught them fun facts and what they were like as people. They did SO good with this! The second graders left with new knowledge about our famous people and our first graders were so excited to share everything they know. It was so fun! Take a look at all the cute pictures below!
Events and Reminders:
-Wednesday, February 22- Library Lesson
Reminder- return any library books so your child can check out 2 new books!
-Thursday, February 23- Guidance Lesson
-Saturday, February 24- Snowflakes and Hotcakes (Please note that pre-sale tickets are NO longer being sold, but you CAN buy tickets at the door!)
Note- If you or your family happen to have any type of portable Bluetooth speaker that you are no longer using or that you have upgraded, we will take it. I had a little portable speaker that we used to stream music during writing and arrival and sadly, it died on me. If you have one that still works, but you are no longer using, we would happily give it a new home. Right now we are using my I-phone amplified in a metal tin. Ha!
Peace, Love, and Learning!
