Wow! I can't believe this week we transition into March! I'm excited for the last few months we have together. We will be using every minute together to be the best version of our self and prepare for second grade. So as we approach the time of the year where Spring fever creeps in, please remember to discuss this importance with your child of taking our learning serious. We are ALL about the business of learning during our time together!
Last week, we had a lot of fun and learning taking place in our class! Look below for some fun pictures from our week!
Events/Reminders for this week:
-Mrs. Streck is out on Tuesday for the Science Ambassador training. I will miss the kiddos, but hope to bring some fun, engaging science activities back to our team!
-Wednesday, March 1st- Library We will go to the library, so please send any books from home so your child can get new books!
-Friday, March 3rd- We will celebrate Dr Seuss Birthday! Who doesn't LOVE Dr Seuss and admire the wonderful contributions he made as a children's book author. We will celebrate his birthday, 1 day late, on Friday with a fun Dr Seuss Rotation. The children will rotate to all the first grade classes where they will read a Dr Seuss book and participate in a fun activity to go along with it in each class.
-Don't forget to read your book for a few days and then return them to school!
Peace, love, and Learning!
